What information is needed to quote project cargo?
Dimensions (length, width and height) and weight of each piece, packaging type and lifting points where applicable, plus origin, destination and target dates. Technical drawings help a lot.
What are open top and flat rack containers?
An open top container has no fixed roof, so taller cargo can be loaded from above. A flat rack has no side walls or roof and is used for wide or very heavy cargo. Availability depends on the route and the carrier.
